Alister has been hunting here for 10-15 years with his dad, now he has bought his son Jack (6) for a 3 day hunt. (3rd generation)
Truely humbling that they have returned once or twice a year since then.
Jack was amazing, he loved every aspect of his trip. Hunting, tramping, bush stalking and fishing for tuna (eels)
He tells me we will see him next year on his 7th birthday 🥰😂😂
Think you’ve started something Alister ….. 🦌

Curtis had initially planned to attend with a mate, but when circumstances changed, he seized the opportunity to hunt solo and achieved outstanding results, proudly returning with his fallow buck. He was thrilled with his experience and has already booked his spot for the next season. Well done Curtis! 🦌

All of our hunting clients and friends will know and would have met Speckles and Holly our pet deer. During the last storm (when we were stranded in Franklins) the wind broke the gate latch and they got out.
Unfortunately, after they got out, they were both shot. How easy they would have been, being hand raised on maize and barley and used to people.
They didn’t have ear tags unfortunately & that’s on us but as they were always in a deer fenced paddock, we didn’t see the need.
We miss them dearing and will be sadly missed by all who meet them

Ethan, another regular hunter here at Glenora Hunting, is pictured with his impressive 10-point red deer. They were fortunate to have optimal weather conditions during their three-day stay.
