Congratulations to legendary climber Kami Rita Sherpa on successfully reaching the summit of Mount Everest for the 32nd time at 10:10 AM on May 17, 2026.
With this historic ascent, Kami Rita Sherpa once again extends his own world record and continues to inspire the global mountaineering community through his extraordinary dedication to the Himalayas.
From his first Everest summit in 1994 to now becoming the first person in history to summit Everest 32 times, his journey reflects decades of experience, courage, and commitment to the mountains.
At 55 years old, he continues to prove that determination, resilience, and passion can overcome even the highest challenges on Earth. His achievement is not only a proud moment for Nepal, but also a remarkable milestone in the history of mountaineering.
