The school’s founders, Devraj Pathak and Jamuna Bhandari, were once immersed in the chaos of corporate life—building empires, founding companies, leading teams, and managing businesses across Dubai and Germany. What remained were debts, disillusionment, and a soul-searching question:
“What’s left when everything falls apart?”
The answer didn’t come through profit—but through practice. In 2017, they returned to Nepal with nothing but wounds and willpower. Devraj entered maun sadhana—a year-long vow of silence—by the sacred Bagmati River in Gokarneshwor. Jamuna turned inward, quietly transforming sorrow into grace. Their healing journey led them to Rishikesh, where they reunited with their longtime spiritual guide, Yogi Yogendra Misra. From that renewal, a vision took root: to share the tools that helped them rebuild from nothing. Thus, 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯 𝐓𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐯𝐚 𝐘𝐨𝐠 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧—𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞. Devraj and Jamuna created Shiv Tattva with a clear vision:
