A few days have passed since our final FIFA World Cup 2026 live show, and I’ve finally had the chance to reflect on what an unforgettable journey it has been.

104 matches. Countless pre and post-match shows. Sleepless nights, endless VTs, voiceovers, production meetings, and more coffee than I can count. Those dark circles were definitely earned.

To every single person behind the scenes—you are the heartbeat of this production. Our producers, directors, production managers, camera crew, editors, graphics team, replay operators, technical crew, audio engineers, floor managers, makeup artists, social media team, runners, and everyone whose hard work often goes unnoticed—thank you. While we were the faces on screen, you were the reason the show came alive every single day. This achievement belongs to all of you.

It was an absolute privilege to share the studio with the legendary Bhaichung Bhutia and to work alongside such an incredible team throughout the tournament.

From being a football-crazy kid watching the World Cup from home to hosting the biggest football tournament on national television alongside some of Nepal’s finest broadcasters, analysts, and former players—it’s a dream I’ll never take for granted.

This was also my second consecutive FIFA World Cup with the Himalaya family after Qatar 2022. Thank you, Himalaya TV and Himalaya Sports, for your continued trust.
