Bath → Swansea → Hemel Hempstead → London → Leamington → Leeds → Dewsbury.

A trip consisting of questionable hotel rooms, food poisoning, enough trains and Underground rides to last a lifetime, a never-ending heatwave, great people, and an unhealthy amount of good rolls.

Grateful to live this “on the go” life and even more grateful to have had along for the ride. I’m a terrible tourist, so having someone constantly saying “let’s go explore” probably made this trip a lot more memorable.

It’s hard to put into words how I’m feeling right now.

It felt good to be back on the Polaris mats. I did what I could with what I had, and I’m proud of that.

Making 77 kg again was tougher than I remembered. I made a few mistakes that made the cut harder than it needed to be, but that’s a lesson learned—and a valuable reality check as I start preparing for the upcoming ADCC.

A huge thank you to Josefine for staying by my side through the chaos of the weight cut and helping me push through when it got tough. I couldn’t have done it without you.

And thank you to everyone who’s been cheering me on and supporting me. This journey is far from over. We keep moving forward, through the highs and the lows. 💪

What makes a competitor: A good competiitor is driven to accomplish a goal, bring out the best in individuals, indeed help them understand themselves.

But sometimes emotions play a part in how things are handled.
So to Open the doors of emotion you risk to feel the violation of trust and confidence, resulting in significant emotional harm, mental anguish, and often destruction.

So what do we do from here? Press forward. Do not stop, do not linger in your journey, but strive for the mark set before you.

So Focus on yourself, because thats the only true insurance you have.

6 years since my first and only European Gi BlackBelt gold.
Its strange to sit here in norway while everyone is is lisboa for euros. every year for 12 years have i been there. But sometime life caught up with me and dealing with that is a battle on it self. Enjoy and bring home those goldmedals.
But remember winning gold comes at a very high cost for some. Victory is to be shared, to be inspired of and to bring hope for those who have none.

So , Im happy i could share that gold with my father, he is my biggest supporter. He has Always watched me compete, never questioned the drive, and kept up with my childish behaviour and attitude. Because he understands what this is to me, what it truly is.. Because he saw those late night runs , those weekend cross country buss rides to get some training inn. Those heavy ass reps -of lifting buckets of Paint with a piece of chainmail (tha my brother made), so that i could get better grips, also alowed his youngest son go for long travels alone as a young kid to becoming an adult traveling and exploring the world, sleeping on floors in streets i cannot even pronounce.
