No ”junior” fencers = rapier sunday

Today we took part in celebrating ”the arrival of the King” (Kongen kommer) i Fredrikstads Gamlebyen. Lots of sparring among ourselves, great fights with kids and parents and lessons to curious reenacters. In all a great day.

Mindre än en vecka kvar till vårens nybörjarkurs! Vi glädjer oss till att möta nyfikna nya kamrater. Det enda du behöver är träningskläder, skor för inomhusbruk och en vattenflaska. Väl mött onsdag 11/3 kl 19.00

Hanne was in Helsinki at Helsinki Longsword Open this weekend! She competed in Women's+ saber and got to the quarterfinals where she lost in a tight match. Well done! Congratulations to Håvard from FKFD who won the Bronze in the Rapier and dagger tournament! Overall, the Norwegian team did a great job judging, fencing, coaching and helping with running the event. We are looking forward to next year already!
