Transmission on its way out of the "50shadesofbrown" Capri. 2nd gear needs to be replaced before we head to Drag Finals at Gardermoen Raceway sept 4th to 6th. Plan for the weekend is to get the car a little faster and have some fun.

When the engine let go in the mustang I had to abort the rest of the season. Out of money and very tired it felt like the right thing to do and I was somewhat okay with it.
Well, it didnt take long before the urge to get out there to race got the best of me(again). I registered for the Drag Finals at Garfermoen Raceway sept4th to 6th in Malins street car. I have a few things I have wanted to test to see if we can make it a bit faster. We will race it in the same class as we do the Mustang even tho we are really outgunned. We will be there for the fun of it and have a nice weekend with racecarfriends. All we have to do to get it ready is rebuild the transmission. The second gear gave up on the way to the grocerystore a few weeks ago.. I guess my wife dont get groceries the same way yours do🤔

We broke the crank off in Q5. Got to get home to disassemble the engine to see how much is damaged inside but we are most sertenly out for the rest of the season.

Ready for day 2 at Tierp Arena. Day 1 was nothing but trouble. We still arent making friends with our new tires. Sitting 5th with a best of 8.78 tells us that we are not the only ones struggling with the tracksurfice this weekend.

Runner Up Drag Challenge 2026. Proud that we even took the old mustang to the final round. Now we are going home to get ready for Summit Racing Internationals at Tierp Arena leaving this wednesday.

We're back. Now we need it to repeat what we got with a lower wheelie.
