Jiu-Jitsu for kids at Team Carvalho!
Our kids’ classes are all about movement, play, learning and confidence — in a safe and positive environment where everyone gets to develop at their own pace.
For children aged 5–7 and 8–12, we focus on much more than Jiu-Jitsu. They learn discipline, respect, cooperation, problem-solving and perseverance — while having fun and making new friends.
No experience needed. Everyone is welcome!
5–7 years: Play, movement & fundamentals
8–12 years: Jiu-Jitsu, skills & development

Why we train with CLA / ECO
At Team Carvalho, we don’t spend our time repeating techniques without resistance.
Instead, we create situations where you have to think, react and adapt.

Never trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before? You’re more than welcome here.
We don’t believe beginners should only train with other beginners. We think your first steps on the mats are better taken alongside experienced people who know how to take care of you, guide you and make sure you have a good experience from day one.
The hectic first week of school is behind us. Now it’s time to make some room for yourself.

This summer we’re repeating last year’s success, and hosting a full CLA camp in Drammen, Norway. We’ll have classes all day, for three days, but you attend the classes you want. We’re gathering grapplers from all over the world, for a weekend of good vibes and better grappling, learning from the best in the game.
