City Triathlon en City Ocean Weert worden jaarlijks georganiseerd door Stichting Stadstriathlon Weert
De stichting is in november 2014 opgericht met als doel het organiseren van de jaarlijkse Stadstriathlon Weert. In 2007 is stichting Total Sports Weert (TSW) opgericht en gestart met het organiseren van verschillende sportevenementen in Weert en omstreken. In 2010 is door TSW de eerste Stadstriathlon Weert georganiseerd, die sindsdien elk jaar terugkeert. Het hoogte punt van TSW was in 2014, toen
