Hauzer is part of IHI Group, which is developing technologies to support Japan’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.

Japan has limited natural resources and an isolated energy grid. This increases the need for stable energy carriers that can be imported, stored and used efficiently. Ammonia offers strong potential because it is easier to transport and store than hydrogen.

IHI is working across the ammonia value chain, including production, storage, transport and utilization. Hauzer contributes with coating technology for electrolyzer stacks and related components, supporting conductivity, corrosion protection and longer component life.
