Tsuru-do Kan Karate

-do Kan als één van de weinige verenigingen in Nederland gecertificeerd door Wadokai, de organisatie binnen de Japanse Karate Federatie (JKF) voor Wado-ryu karate. De karate-lessen worden verzorgd door Kevin Chao, gelicenseerd Wadokai instructeur, vijfde dan Wadokai en vierde dan KBN. Wado-ryu betekent: ‘de weg van de harmonie’. Traditioneel Wado-ryu karate streeft naar harmonie tussen lichaam en geest door middel van krijgskunstoefeningen. Kobudo is onze wapentraining, met onder meer de bo, sai en tonfa. Lestijden:

Tsuru-do Kan is a dojo, situated in Utrecht, for traditional budo, the ‘way of martial arts’. Our disciplines are Wado Ryu Karate Do en Ryu Kyu Kobujitsu (Okinawan Kobudo). We teach in traditional styles as well as more practical applications for self defense. We also focus on strengthening physical condition, flexibility and power. Tsuru-do Kan is a member of the Karate Bond Nederland (KBN). Tsuru-do Kan is only one of a few dojos in The Netherlands, certified by Wadokai, the organization within the Japanese Karate Federation (JKF) which practices the Wado-ryu style of karate. The karate classes are being teached by Kevin Chao, official Wadokai instructor. Fifth dan Wadokai and fourth dan KBN. Karate lessons are given in English. Wado ryu means’ the way of harmony’.
