Voor deze bijzondere custom bike mochten wij vanuit Republic Dutch® samen met SANTOS BIKES - Built For Life werken aan een prachtig Nederlands project. Het resultaat: een unieke fiets waarin techniek, ambacht en design samenkomen — afgewerkt met een door ons gerealiseerde Mondriaan-inspired custom paintjob. 🎨🚲

Wat deze fiets voor ons extra bijzonder maakt, is niet alleen het eindresultaat, maar vooral de samenwerking erachter. Van het eerste overleg tot de uiteindelijke montage verliep het contact tussen Republic Dutch, Santos en alle betrokken partijen professioneel, helder en met wederzijds respect.

Dit is wat Nederland kan maken wanneer kennis, ervaring en passie samenkomen.

Santos staat voor technisch vakmanschap en degelijkheid. Republic Dutch voor maatwerk, persoonlijkheid en fietsen met een eigen verhaal. Twee Nederlandse fietsbedrijven, ieder met hun eigen identiteit en expertise, samengebracht in één unieke fiets.

Yesterday, my handmade, custom-designed bicycle officially became part of a museum exhibition after completing one of the most unforgettable adventures of my life: cycling from the very north of Vietnam all the way to the south.

What started as an idea in my workshop became thousands of kilometers of memories, incredible people, breathtaking landscapes, and a journey with purpose. Every climb, every challenge, every smile along the road is now part of this bicycle’s story.

Seeing it displayed today is a reminder that extraordinary things don’t happen because you wait for the perfect moment. They happen because you dare to start.

This bike is more than steel, wheels, and craftsmanship. It’s proof that passion, determination, and courage can take you further than you ever imagined.
