Watersley R+D Cycling Team

𝗔𝗻 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳.

After careful consideration, we have decided to adjust the direction of the Watersley R+D Cycling Team. Next season, we will focus fully on further strengthening our U19 women’s programme.

This also means that our U19 men’s team will come to an end after this season, and the planned Development Women Team will not start in 2027.

What a weekend at the Watersley Junior & Ladies Challenge.

A huge congratulations to Maria for taking the overall victory after three impressive days of racing. Winning the GC at our home race makes this one extra special.

We're proud of all our Watersley R+D Team riders who raced in front of our home crowd and gave everything out on the road.

The Watersley Junior & Ladies Challenge is always one we look forward to. Racing on home roads, surrounded by our community, makes this weekend special. With 12 Watersley R+D Team riders on the start line, we're ready to make the most of it.

Across cycling, paracycling and triathlon, our athletes represented their countries with pride. Some returned home in national champion jerseys, others with valuable race experience and new lessons to build on.

During the Watersley Open House, visitors had the opportunity to discover the different sports represented within our Watersley R+D teams and learn more about what it takes to develop talent at the highest level.

From seeing athletes in action to experiencing the sports themselves, the day offered a unique look into the journey of growth, dedication and development that takes place at Watersley every day.

A special thank you to the Watersley R+D Offroad Team and Tom Greten of the Watersley R+D Paracycling Team for sharing their sport, knowledge and passion with our visitors.

For the coming seasons, a limited number of places are available within the Watersley R+D Cycling Team Women Development Program.

We work with ambitious U23 riders who are determined to maximise their potential in a professional, performance-driven environment. Through expert coaching, a strong race programme and a long-term development approach, we help talented athletes take the next step in their cycling careers.

We’re not simply looking for results. We’re looking for riders with ambition, commitment and the mindset to keep improving every day.

The European Championships are happening this month for both paracycling and triathlon. We have a total of 5 athletes from our Watersley R+D teams at the start line!
