Congratulations to Rutger Krijger and his crew on winning IRC class 1 in the 2026 Round the Island Race. Rutger's J112 Jack Rabbit has our IRC optimised J112 keel and rudder design in cooperation with C Performance fitted by Sailworkz.

In order to make speed predictions for the Global Solo Challenge we scanned this Class 40 3D and did a stability measurement. The predictions will be used for the routing software as wel as for speed targets that need to be maintained in the race.

Somewhere high up in an Austrian mountain shed one of our clients is building the M22 XiO offered as a kit by Project Made In Holland. This boat is designed to as much suitable for Austrian lakes as to be trailered to the Mediterranean for coastal sailing. AI made it possible to show what the boat will look like when it is finished.

A replacement keel fin was designed an cast for a MaxFun 35, the original welded fin was corroded and did not pass safety inspection and was written off. To prevent this problem in the future it was decided to replace the fin with a solid cast iron one, this was also the most economically solution. This new fin is slightly heavier but as the boat was a bit low on stability this was more of a bonus than a disadvantage. The keel was produced and supplied by Tripple A Yachting who have the mould in store might any other MaxFun 35 owner also need their keelfin replaced.
