WOW I could have never even dreamed about all the stuff i have walked through today!

An obvious massive thanks to everyone making this possible in the last GP of the netherlands/zandvoort!🧡🧡🧡

After the sprintrace of the dutch grand prix i had the possibility to not only meet but even hand out the trophy to my idol Charles Leclerc and it was a dream come true!

🇪🇺🏁 FIA Karting Academy Trophy – Round 1 Recap

Coming into the first round, confidence was high… but unfortunately too much bad luck turned the weekend into a disappointing result on paper.

I’m never someone who looks for excuses, but sometimes it feels like everything possible gets thrown at you at once, and this race weekend was one of those moments.

Several crashes left me with bruised ribs, and the search for pure one-lap pace was extremely difficult because of the minimum weight situation, making a strong starting position almost impossible.

However, the heats told a completely different story. The race pace was strong, with great overtakes and big gains in positions throughout the weekend 💪🔥

Sadly, incidents and technical issues affected the final results, but I’m proud that we kept fighting until the very end and grateful to have raced the final at such an amazing event.

I’m taking all the experience and positives from this weekend with me, and leaving the bad luck behind, to come back stronger for Round 2 in Sarno 🇮🇹🔥

I was genuinely surprised by how many people came to Genk to support me this weekend. Your support gives me even more motivation to show what I’m really capable of in the next races 💪❤️

Boaz Maximov en Cesc Pieterse namens de KNAF naar FIA Karting Academy Trophy 2026

De karttalenten Boaz Maximov en Cesc Pieterse zullen dit jaar namens de KNAF ons land vertegenwoordigen in de FIA Karting Academy Trophy. Door de KNAF is de 14-jarige Maximov uit Steenwijk geselecteerd voor deelname in de Senior categorie, terwijl de in Rotterdam woonachtige 13-jarige Pieterse de Nederlandse eer zal hooghouden bij de Junioren. De FIA Karting Academy Trophy omvat drie wedstrijden waarbij rond de 40 karttalenten uit bijna evenzovele landen van over de hele wereld het met identiek materiaal tegen elkaar opnemen.

Boaz Maximov and Cesc Pieterse on behalf of the KNAF to FIA Karting Academy Trophy 2026

The karting talents Boaz Maximov and Cesc Pieterse will represent our country in the FIA Karting Academy Trophy on behalf of the KNAF this year. The KNAF has selected 14-year-old Maximov from Steenwijk to participate in the Senior category, while 13-year-old Pieterse, who lives in Rotterdam, will uphold the Dutch honour among the Juniors. The FIA Karting Academy Trophy comprises three races in which around 40 karting talents from almost as many countries around the world compete with identical material.
