What is stress?

In informal terms:
It is a human reaction that happens to everyone.

You feel tension emotionally and in your body.
You are unsure whether you will be able to handle situations, and feel like there is more demand than capacity. It can be caused by in general Unpleasant events.

Maybe you struggle to concentrate or your mood is irritated. Stress can lead to sleep problems, low energy and frequent sickness.

Short-term stress can even be beneficial, but long-term stress can lead to serious health problems.

Is the weather too hot for you? Try this Pranayama (breath excercise: Sheetali is the Cooling Breath.
Cooling breath (known in Sanskrit as Sitali Pranayama or Sheetali) is a classic yoga breathing technique designed to rapidly lower your body temperature, soothe physical heat, and calm your nervous system.

How to do it?
1. Find a comfortable seated position: Sit with your spine straight, shoulders relaxed, and hands resting on your knees
2. Form a "U" with your tongue: Open your mouth and curl the sides of your tongue lengthwise so it resembles a tube or straw. Extend your tongue slightly past your lips.
3. Inhale: Take a long, slow, deep breath in through your curled tongue, as if you are sipping air through a straw. You will feel a strong, refreshing cooling sensation as the air hits the back of your throat.
4. Exhale: Retract your tongue, close your mouth, and exhale completely and slowly through both nostrils.
5. Repeat: Continue this cycle for 5 to 10 rounds (or 2 to 3 minutes), and return to normal breathing.
