raining is suited for all healthy people between 8 and 80 years old. Why develop a new training programme with so many existing programmes out there? Combining the art of fight and defence into a new programme is not new, but some of those programmes don’t take realistic situations into account. I strongly believe that self-confidence and the ability to properly defend yourself, rely heavily on your own attitude, your experience with (life) threatening situations and personal or public violence. Developing that experience in a safe environment should be part of any realistic attack and defence training. What can you expect when training with me? Don’t expect me to turn you into a lean, mean fighting machine. I am convinced however that I can teach you a lot about how to properly defend yourself and how to boost your self-confidence, to a point where you will be able to fight without fighting. My training will allow you to increase your confidence and your fight and defence skills. This will make it easier for you to avoid or neutralise violent situations. If for some reason you are unable to avoid violence, you will have a better chance to keep the damage at a minimum because of your increased physical fitness and trained senses.
