Thanks to Per Magnus Haaland, I can finally share my latest work with you all, an English translation of Don Emanuel Friedrich De Bada's Kort Anledning, published in Lund in the 1730s. This was not an easy translation - I started it soon after moving to Norway, as a first step into learning the nordic languages, and it was not the smartest step to take, as De Bada, also an immigrant, by his own words (my translation) "knew rather little of the Swedish language".

I prepared a transcription and translation of Pieter Bailly's "Cort Bewijs van t'Rapier alleen" a few years ago, but never published them, for several reasons. Therefore, it gladdens me that I can now publish this pdf, containing not only my transcription and translation, but also an interpretation, and - with the kind permission of the Koninklijke Bibliotheek Nederland, in Den Haag - a set of scans that Matt Galas first acquired from them.
With this, I do believe that I have provided translations of all Dutch HEMA sources from before 1700!
Do enjoy :)
