The reveal. Vincent van Gogh.
Our new canvas has found its shape.
For the new season, we step into the world of Vincent van Gogh, with one of his most recognisable paintings as our starting point: The Bedroom in Arles.
What fascinates us is that the room is far from perfect.
Perspective shifts. Lines seem to move in different directions. Proportions feel slightly off. Van Gogh was not trying to create a perfectly realistic interior. Through colour, form and perspective, he created something much more personal: a room seen through his eyes.
That imperfection is exactly what inspired us.
We translated the bedroom into our own studio, embracing its unusual lines, strong colours and almost flattened perspective. Not as a perfect reproduction, but as our interpretation of Van Gogh’s world.
A new canvas for a new season, where once again art, clothing and creativity come together.
Welcome to our Van Gogh season.
Neighbourhood Arnhem
A menswear store in Arnhem, built around quality, attention and time. We present a carefully curated collection where fabric, fit and feel come together.
Defined by refined blends, breathable textures and a strong foundation of trousers, the collection shapes every wardrobe, featuring brands such as A Kind of Guise, Fortela, Universal Works, Dehen 1920, Drake’s, Red Wing, Edwin Japan, Malin + Goetz, OrSlow and Carhartt WIP. Alongside this, a considered selection of accessories completes the story — sunglasses, belts and scarves that add character w
Any guesses? Which artist do you think is inspiring our new season?
Our new canvas is slowly finding its colour. We mix, adjust and paint, searching for the tones that will shape the atmosphere of our next studio. Every colour is chosen with intention, inspired by the world and work of one particular artist.
The first layers are on the canvas. Perhaps the colours already give something away…
Who do you think it is? Leave your guess below. We’re curious to see who recognises the clues.
A new canvas begins.
Every season, we start again.
An empty studio, A new idea, A new story waiting to take shape.
For us, inspiration often begins far beyond clothing. We look to art, to artists and to the worlds they created. Their use of colour, light, texture and emotion becomes a starting point from which we build our own.
Over the coming days, our studio will slowly transform into the world of our new season.
For now, we build and create.
Something new is taking shape.
Can you guess where our inspiration is leading us?
From store to studio.
Every look starts with a conversation.
This week, we are styling Giel in a selection of pieces that reflect what inspires us most: thoughtful layering, interesting textures and clothing that feels personal rather than seasonal.
Once the styling comes together upstairs, we move downstairs into our studio, where the story continues.
These are some of the final moments inside our Monet-inspired studio.
Over the past seasons, Claude Monet’s home, gardens and way of observing light have shaped not only our photography, but the way we’ve told our stories.
Soon, we’ll leave this canvas behind and begin creating a new one. A new chapter, with fresh inspiration, while staying true to the world we’ve carefully built.
At Neighbourhood, we believe clothing is about more than getting dressed. It is about composition. About feeling. About creating a world where clothing, art, creativity and craftsmanship come together through passion and attention.
Welcome to the world of Neighbourhood.
Paris Family Buying Trip.
Some buying trips become memories long before the collections arrive.
This season, we had two very special assistants by our side. Leda and Moné joined us as we travelled through Paris to discover the Ralph Lauren Spring Summer 2027 collection. Seeing the excitement through their eyes made the experience even more meaningful.
The runway once again captured everything we admire about Ralph Lauren. Relaxed tailoring, effortless layering, refined sportswear and timeless Americana, brought together with a remarkable sense of colour, texture and ease. A collection that doesn’t chase trends, but quietly builds on a legacy of craftsmanship and enduring style.
For us, buying is never simply about selecting garments.
It’s about discovering stories, finding inspiration and carefully curating pieces that become part of the world we continue to build at Neighbourhood.
A world where clothing, art, craftsmanship and creativity come together through passion and attention.
Welcome to the world of Neighbourhood.
Back from Paris.
Paris certainly tested us.
Temperatures reaching 45°C, cancelled trains and a journey home that lasted longer than all of our appointments combined.
But those are the stories you laugh about afterwards. Because what truly mattered made every challenge worthwhile.
Over the past few days, we carefully selected the Spring Summer 2027 collections. Days filled with inspiring conversations, beautiful craftsmanship and brands that continue to remind us why we return to Paris season after season. Not to chase trends. But to discover timeless pieces, exceptional materials and thoughtful design that fit the world we continue to build at Neighbourhood.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll take you behind the scenes and share what inspired us, what we selected and why.
Welcome back to the world of Neighbourhood.

The Ralph Lauren Spring 2026 Runway.
The Ralph Lauren Spring 2026 collection once again reminded us why the brand has remained one of fashion’s defining references for decades.
Relaxed tailoring, soft shirting, refined sportswear and timeless Americana came together in a collection that felt both familiar and refreshingly current.
Rather than following trends, Ralph Lauren continues to build a world entirely its own. One where craftsmanship, quality and effortless elegance remain at the heart of every collection.
At Neighbourhood, this is exactly what continues to inspire us. The layering, the unexpected combinations, the balance of colour and texture. A vision that has shaped the way we approach menswear for years.
Because great style isn’t created by trends. It is built through character, attention and a timeless point of view.

Layering, the Neighbourhood way. Some garments quietly earn their place in a wardrobe.
For us, the Ralph Lauren quarter-zip is one of them. Introduced decades ago as part of Ralph Lauren’s vision of relaxed American sportswear, it has become a timeless staple. Not because it follows trends, but because it effortlessly adapts to the person wearing it.
This week, we layered it with a crisp shirt, a silk scarf and softly tailored trousers. A reminder that great style is rarely about individual pieces, but about how they work together.
At Neighbourhood, we have always loved building outfits through thoughtful combinations. Mixing textures, colours and silhouettes until everything feels balanced. Clothing approached with the same care as composition.
Because the pieces that stay with us the longest are often the ones that can be worn in countless ways.
A world where clothing, art, craftsmanship and creativity come together through passion and attention.

In Monet’s bedroom, art never stopped.
Even here, the walls were filled with paintings by friends, fellow artists and works that inspired him throughout his life. His home wasn’t simply a place to live, but a world built around creativity.
During our visit to Giverny, it became clear that inspiration wasn’t confined to the studio. It was part of everyday life.
A beautiful reminder that the spaces we surround ourselves with quietly shape the way we see the world.
Padmore & Barnes X Neighbourhood - An Object of Character
For nearly a century, Padmore & Barnes has remained faithful to a way of making shoes that values craftsmanship over trends and character over perfection.
Founded in Kilkenny, Ireland in 1934, the company became known for its hand-stitched moccasins and was responsible for producing some of the earliest versions of the now-iconic Wallabee for Clarks.
Originally crafted in Kilkenny and later adopted by generations of artists, musicians and makers, the silhouette became an icon not through fashion, but through culture.
For this collaboration, Padmore & Barnes and Neighbourhood came together around a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, colour and timeless design. Drawing on nearly a century of shoemaking heritage and our own perspective on culture, community and quality, we set out to create something that feels both familiar and entirely its own.
More than a shoe, this collaboration is an object shaped by time, tradition and the hands that made it.
Presented through the colours of our Monet-inspired studio, each pair becomes part of a larger study in colour, texture and craftsmanship.
