My upper trapezius is where stress likes to settle.
When life gets turbulent, it tightens into one big knot. The temptation is always to press, massage or aggressively stretch it away.
What helps me most?
Slow, rhythmic movement.
Simple walking is great for down regulating the nervous system. Side Stretches on the Wunda Chair are often my go-to. Combining breath with rhythmic control, they create the space my neck and upper back need to let go.
Movement first. Release follows.

Growth is rarely loud.
It doesn’t always arrive with clarity, certainty, or a sense of arrival.
More often, it moves beneath the surface. Reshaping you in ways that only become visible over time.
At LS Pilates, growth is not measured in repetitions or perfection.
It lives in the movement.

Finding stillness within.
I know how intense life can be.
When I was told I needed a second stem cell transplant, after an already devastating first, my hematologist said: “Calm will save you”
Because we all know letting go is terrifying… So we hold on to what’s known. Even when it no longer serves us. Even when it harms us.
Releasing control, stepping into the unknown… it asks everything of you.
LS Pilates was born in that space.
A space where you can soften into the discomfort.
Where you learn to trust a practice of letting go.
Because life is exactly that. And within it, your inner calm is waiting.
From there, you move forward.
