This October, I welcome my teacher Swami Prem Sadasivananda to The Breathing Space for a weekend inside the Bhagavad Gītā — its teachings on attachment, right action, the Self, and devotion. Explored through talks, meditation, and kirtan.
Whether you join for one evening or the full three days, it’s a rare chance to sit with a teacher whose scholarship and warmth go hand in hand.

This September, Tracey Ingram and I are leading a week-long retreat on Portugal’s Atlantic coast.
September 6–12 · Monte Velho, Aljezur
Ashtanga mornings, Restorative afternoons, leisurely vegetarian meals, ocean air, space to breathe and just be. Tracey’s Restorative work is some of the most generous and skilled I’ve encountered — think personalized savasana setups and deeply supported rest.
No Ashtanga experience needed. Just a willingness to show up.
€1,200 – €1,700 depending on room type. All meals, all yoga, six nights included.
Spots are limited. Link in bio for the full details, or DM me with questions.

The Listening Space is back this Sunday.
Once a month we gather to reflect, share, and ask the questions that don’t always fit into a led or mysore class. It’s a space to explore yoga beyond the mat — the philosophy, the inner work, the things that keep showing up in your practice.
This month’s theme: What should your practice look like?
We’ll sit with questions like — how does practice take shape? How does it adapt over time? Does it need to look any particular way at all?
Bring your thoughts, your struggles, your lived experience. Or just come and listen.
Sunday April 19 · 12:45 · Free · Open to all

Intention isn’t always something we formally set.
Often it’s already there—woven into the act of returning continually to the breath.
In times when practice begins to feel habitual or disconnected, gently naming an intention can help us reorient. Not to fix anything, but to listen again and return to presence.
This Sunday at 12:45, we’ll explore intention in The Listening Space.
More reflections on the blog (🔗 in bio).

This month’s theme in The Listening Space has been echoing through my own life in ways I didn’t expect. Studentship — the willingness to meet what arises with clarity, humility, and attention — has shown up for me not only in practice, but in the places where old patterns surface and relationships ask for deeper listening.
If these reflections resonate, you’re welcome to join us on Sunday as we explore On Being a Student.
🕊️ 12:30 at The Breathing Space.
