🚀 From Ideas to Action: LINK UP Meets in Brussels

On 23 and 24 June, Johanna and Eva travelled to Brussels for the Link UP Project Transnational Project Meeting. 🇪🇺

For the first time, all partners met in person after months of online collaboration. It was great to finally put faces to names, strengthen our partnerships, and exchange ideas around the same table.

During the meeting, we looked back on the project’s first phase and turned broad ideas into concrete goals for the next steps. We also started shaping the upcoming modules and further developing the Resource Navigator.

We’re excited to build on this momentum and move LINK UP forward! 🚀

From research to training: BEYOND FEAR partners meet in Berlin 🇪🇺

Last week, the Beyond Fear Project for Women consortium came together in Berlin for our second Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by Smart Education Hub at Impact Hub Berlin.
After completing the transnational research phase, this meeting focused on the next important step: transforming the research findings into a practical and accessible training programme for women workers across Europe.

Together with our European partners, we discussed the Learning Outcomes Framework, the pedagogical approach, the structure of the training modules, the format of the materials and the platforms that can best support blended and digital learning.

As Stichting Netwerkpro, we were pleased to contribute from our experience in women’s empowerment, adult education and participatory training methods. The insights from the BEYOND FEAR Transnational Research Report will now directly feed into the development of training materials that help women recognise, prevent and respond to violence and harassment in the workplace.

A productive meeting, valuable exchanges and an important next step in turning research into practical tools for safer, more respectful and inclusive workplaces.

Een terugblik op het Step Into Your Future event! ✨

Vorige week was het tijd voor ons jaarlijks netwerk evenement: Step Into Your Future.
Meer dan 55 vrouwen, trainers, vrijwilligers, buurtorganisaties, beleidsmakers, partners en andere betrokkenen kwamen hier samen om elkaar te ontmoeten, ervaringen uit te wisselen en nieuwe verbindingen te leggen.

Op het evenement sprak onder meer Mariia Korolchuk over het opbouwen van een nieuw leven, nadat zij met haar drie kinderen uit Oekraïne moest vluchten door de oorlog. Haar moed en weerbaarheid inspireerde en het was mooi om ook herkenning bij de aanwezige vrouwen te zien, ondanks de vele verschillen in achtergronden. Daarnaast sprak Neske Beks over het thema intersectionaliteit. Door samen stil te staan bij onze verschillende ervaringen, achtergronden en perspectieven ontstonden waardevolle gesprekken en nieuwe inzichten. Juist door die verschillen te erkennen, ontdekten we hoeveel we met elkaar gemeen hebben.

Daarnaast vierden we de successen van deelnemers die hun empowermenttraject succesvol hebben afgerond en werden certificaten uitgereikt aan vrouwen die belangrijke stappen hebben gezet in hun persoonlijke ontwikkeling.

Het was een enorm inspirerende dag waar we met een warm gevoel op terugkijken. Dank aan alle vrouwen die zich openstellen voor groei, ontwikkeling en verbinding. Dank aan onze trainers, vrijwilligers, partners en community-organisaties die deze projecten mogelijk maken. Dank aan Casa Casla voor de gastvrije ontvangst. En natuurlijk dank aan het hele Netwerkpro-team voor de organisatie van deze inspirerende dag. Samen gaan we sterker de toekomst tegemoet!

Next week: off to Palermo with SHE UNET! 🌟

Next week we’ll be traveling to Palermo for a two‑day train‑the‑trainer programme based on our empowerment methodology. Trainers from five organisations supporting Ukrainian women will join us: Help4Ukraine, Ukrainian Club, Ukrainian Women Refugee Association, VilnaJa, and Circles of Change. 

Together, we’ll focus on strengthening training skills and exploring the core content of the methodology.

🌟 Samen naar Brussel: twee dagen van groei, erkenning en Europese verbondenheid 🌟

Op 7 en 8 april brachten wij twee inspirerende dagen door in Brussel met een groep vrouwen die, ieder op haar eigen manier, een afstand tot de samenleving ervaart. In het kader van het Mobility Project (Erasmus+) kregen zij de kans om van dichtbij kennis te maken met Europa en de werking van de Europese democratie.

Deze reis was méér dan een uitstap: het was een moment van erkenning. Twee dagen waarin de deelnemers volledig werden ontzorgd en ruimte kregen om te ervaren dat zij deel uitmaken van Europa. Door samen te leren, te ontdekken en in gesprek te gaan met elkaar en de begeleiders, ontstond een gevoel van verbondenheid en waardering.

Het programma was erop gericht iedere vrouw in haar kracht te zetten . Door nieuwe ervaringen, door gezien en gehoord te worden, en door simpelweg even samen weg te zijn. Een waardevolle en leerzame ervaring die nog lang zal resoneren. 🙌🏼

Wat een inspirerende en waardevolle ervaring in Vilnius! 🌟

Twee intensieve dagen bij het Third Mutual Learning Event waarin we samen met partners uit heel Europa hebben gekeken naar hoe we innovatie kunnen inzetten om de maatschappelijke gevolgen van de oorlog in Oekraïne aan te pakken. Veel waardevolle inzichten, eerlijke gesprekken en vooral: concrete ideeën om echt impact te maken.
