Outdoor Medals: The Camino Medal

Proud to share that we had the honor of presenting a €5,405 cheque to the AVL Foundation!

This donation is dedicated to research into neuroendocrine carcinoma. Thanks to contributions like this, they have even been able to fund a PhD student focusing on this important topic.

This amount represents our donation for 2025, something we’re incredibly proud of!

This mission is also deeply personal. Fabienne’s mother passed away from a neuroendocrine tumor, which makes supporting this research even more meaningful to us.

We currently offer one medal, and soon we will be launching six new medals for the most popular Camino routes🏅

We hope to make another donation like this again in 2026, or even bigger!!

Yes, we did it! De Camino Portugués: 280 km in 13 dagen 😁 Gisteren zijn we aangekomen!

Wat een reis. Letterlijk en figuurlijk.
We haalden meer dan €1500 op voor kankeronderzoek 🙌 en onderweg kwamen we van alles tegen: kippenvelmomenten, hitte, regen, blaren maar vooral... inzichten.

Over mezelf.
Over grenzen verleggen.
Over loslaten en doorgaan.
Over het leven.

We ontmoetten prachtige mensen van over de hele wereld, liepen door natuur die je stil maakt en soms voelde het alsof we 2000 jaar terug in de tijd wandelden.

Camino, bedankt voor alles.
Voor de lessen, het lachen, het afzien en het diepe geluk. Wat een avontuur.

En nu… mag ik ein-de-lijk zélf een Camino medaille dragen. Wat een eer! 💛🏅
