We had a great week last week with an awesome family from New York. Here is the review they sent us; We can't say enough good things about The Nica Experience. "My family of 5 (children ages 7, 5, 2) traveled to Nicaragua this April for a week of surf and adventure. Although we were a bit apprehensive about doing big outings with such young children, it ended up being the most fun and rewarding experience we've had as a family.
TNE worked with me to plan out our itinerary prior to our trip. Before leaving, we had already outlined where we would go each day - Merel was super responsive and kind - she had suggestions along the way and it felt like a collaborative effort between my research and her knowledge of the area. She even made sure we had a car seat for our toddler. Leaving for Nica, I felt prepared and excited for a wonderful trip.
My husband and I wanted to surf each day, and we were able to get in the water and explore different beaches/breaks. Edwin and Tito gave us insight about the various beaches and we felt like locals, instead of tourists being carted around in big buses. Edwin was a wonderful driver. We talked over the next day's plans at the end of each day, and we felt safe in his comfortable, spacious, air conditioned car. We always felt safe and cared for during our day-trips.
We can honestly say we didn't expect to fall in love with Nicaragua, but because of our good experience (a lot due to our experience with TNE), we want to come back again next year! We are already planning what we want to see the next time around! Thank you to TNE for leaving such a good impression on us!"
