The joint operation, involving the Nigeria Police Force's VCRU, SWAT, Forest Guards, and other security agencies, followed weeks of intelligence gathering. Several suspects were arrested, while camps allegedly used by kidnappers, cultists, and armed robbers were destroyed.
The Chairman vowed to sustain the fight against crime, declaring that criminal elements would find no safe haven in Ibesikpo Asutan.

“I was dropped because I was not Igbo at Rangers International.”
Super Eagles assistant captain and Paris FC star Moses Simon has opened up about one of the most painful experiences of his football journey.
While I believe situations like this do happen, it is important not to turn this into an ethnic debate. This is not unique to any one region or tribe. Football has always had coaches who favour players they know, trust, or share a connection with.
We have seen similar situations across Europe. Arsène Wenger built Arsenal around many French players, while Erik ten Hag brought several Dutch players to Manchester United during his time in charge. Managers often recruit players from their country, former clubs, or familiar football culture.
While situations like Moses Simon experienced is unfortunate and should be condemned. But it should not be used to fuel ethnic propaganda or create unnecessary division. Football should unite us, not divide us.
