From Ingredients to Enjoyment
What happens when learning meets creativity? You get a room filled with little chefs, curious minds and lots of excitement!
During our summer classes, the kids had the opportunity to learn how to make sandwiches and prepare Chapman. From getting the ingredients ready to carefully following each step, they were fully involved in the process.
Beyond the fun, the activity helped them develop practical skills, teamwork, confidence, creativity and the ability to follow instructions. And of course, the best part was seeing them proudly enjoy what they had made themselves!

Mona School has been established to provide children with training to fulfill their potential so they will become useful adults in their community.
In September of 2000, Mona School began in Sapele with 4 kindergarten children. As of September 2013, Mona School has 3 permanent buildings with 280 children attending. The approach in kindergarten is that learning is interesting with hundreds of materials available to be used. For our Kindergarten learners, craft making is an opportunity to explore, create and have fun
Using simple materials, our little learners created beautiful crafts while developing their fine motor skills, coordination and imagination
Every creation is a reflection of a growing mind and a creative little hand
The world is becoming increasingly digital and our learners need the skills to navigate it confidently
Our computer sessions provide practical opportunities for learners to explore technology and develop essential digital skills
Each session is designed to make technology interesting, simple and engaging
Learning does not stop when the classroom doors close
Our Primary learners enjoyed an exciting indoor games session designed to encourage teamwork, strategy, concentration and healthy competition
Through play, learners develop problem solving skills, patience and the ability to work together while having fun
Learning through practical skills
Our Primary pupils had a hands on sewing activity where they learned and practiced basic sewing skills and craft making.
It was a beautiful opportunity for them to learn something practical while developing patience and creativity.
Fun indoors
Our Kindergarten pupils enjoyed a fun session of indoor games during Summer School.
The activities gave them the opportunity to play, interact and enjoy learning in a relaxed environment.
Little hands learning and creating
Our Kindergarten pupils had a fun hands on activity where they made popcorn and created their own popcorn bowls.
It was a simple and enjoyable way to learn while being creative.
