We are pleased to introduce JUNIC Recreation Centre, located within the NTA premises, Owerri. The environment is serene and secure and a perfect place for relaxation, thus it has been designed as a venue for leisure and entertainment, by creating a relaxation and recreation place for the family, especially the children and the youth. Owerri is the center stage for entertainment east of the Niger.
The growing entertainment industry only serves to highlight further achievements to be celebrated. JUNIC recreation Centre will provide the perfect venue as is a one-stop venue for entertainment and organized events for children, adults and corporate organizations. Whilst providing for the Children, we also believe that, the family should be involved in these activities so as to create better bonding. Our Value proposition:
The venue will be hired to interested parties on a day-to-day basis and will be available all year round, for hosting different activities, including weddings, parties and sporting activities organized for the relaxation of families and corporate bodies. In pursuance to this, the first phase of the project has been completed and will open to the public on September 20, 2013 and the public can enjoy the following facilities:
ü 5-A-side Football pitches – this has been specially designed for lovers of football. All 5 pitches has Astro Turf and flood lights, thus people can pay at any time of the day to suite their schedule.
ü Bathroom and Changing Room – this is designed to ensure that those who play in the pitches can refresh themselves after their games, before settling down for a drink before going home.
ü Bar and Viewing Centre – We have taken special care in designing the Bar and Viewing Centre to enable lovers of sports experience the best viewing experience of their favourite games and shows, whilst enjoying a drink and barbeque.
ü Clean Environment – We take health and safety very seriously. We believe that food should be served from a very clean source and eaten in a clean environment, accordingly, we have designed this facility with high hygienic standards. Our Washroom, kitchens and Service points have been designed in accordance with the best hygienic standards.
ü Adequate Parking for Customers – We have taken care to ensure that visitors to this facility will park without difficulty.
ü Adequate Security for Users and Visitors - The facility will have 24/7 CCTV coverage in addition to adequate Security patrols. Our customers will have no reason to worry about their security whilst they are in the premises.
