I am made to lie down in green pastures
I am led beside still waters
I am restored intellectually, emotionally, and volitionally

The Lord is my Shepherd, I am satisfied greatly

The Lord is my anchor in the endless scroll;
In a culture of hustle, He satisfies my soul.
I lack nothing, though the feed tells me I’m behind,
He is the quiet center of my overactive mind.
He makes me power down, He forces me to rest,
Leading me away from the notifications and the stress.
Beside the still waters of a screenless, quiet room,
He pulls me from the weight of the impending doom.

He reboots my spirit when I am running on low,
Recalibrating my heart when I don't know where to go.
He guides me through the maze of my heavy, modern choices,
Cutting through the static of a million shouting voices.
He leads me on the right path, offline and unperceived,
Reminding me His grace is all I need to succeed.

Even when I walk through the valleys of anxiety and doubt,
Through midnight panic attacks or when the market bottoms out,
Through the concrete canyons where loneliness is loud,
I will fear no evil, even in the thickest crowd.
For You are right beside me, my firewall and my guide;
Your boundaries and your presence are where I safely hide.

You set a table of peace right in the middle of my mess,
Right in front of the critics, the trolls, and the stress.
You silence my imposter syndrome with a quiet, holy grace,
And pour out Your favor in this hyper-competitive space.
You anoint my heavy head, You tell me I am enough,
My cup is spilling over; I am overwhelmed by love.

Surely wild, relentless grace will track my location down,
Every single day, in every frantic, restless town.
And I will dwell in the frequency of Your presence, secure,
Plugged into the Source forever, grounded and sure.

Amen

We give footholds to impeed our growth and journey towards greatness when we consistently look to others to pour oil on us, rather than pouring it ourselves.

Pouring oil on oneself starts with valuing ourselves. Our true value and sense of self-worth must start from inside out.

Spoil yourself in the appropriate ways so that you know you are worthy and a king, and others will recognize and treat you likewise, and if they don't, yours matters most.
