2025 FGM Boxing Award winner and current WBA Africa Featherweight Champion, Yusuf Adeniji, paid a courtesy visit to the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the President of Nigeria on Grassroots Sports Development, Hon. Adebayo Anthony Adeyinka, aka Zulu Authority at his office today in Surulere.

Hon. Zulu Authority announced that his discussion with Yusuf focused on advancing grassroots boxing and creating more opportunities for young talent across the country. He also commended Yusuf for his dedication and commitment to the development of Nigerian boxing.

Godday "Zodsolo" Appah has withdrawn from his scheduled fight against Lekan "Lokoti The Engine" Muibi on July 31st after sustaining a bone fracture during training camp.

The highly anticipated cruiserweight bout, which was set to take place on July 31st at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, has been canceled as a result of the injury.

Zodsolo announced the news on his Instagram page, just 25 days before the fight, where he also shared an X-ray image from the hospital confirming the fracture to his hand.
