🚨DID YOU KNOW: Seven years after leaving Barcelona, Xavi Simons has revealed why he decided to leave La Masia, saying he never felt trusted by the club.
🗣️ “It was clear from the start that they didn’t believe in me.”
“They told me, ‘We have other players we believe in. We want to offer you a contract, but you’re not one of the players who’s really part of the project.’”
“I spent my whole life there. I went through everything at that club and spent my entire childhood there, so I love Barcelona. That’s why it hurt both me and my family so much.”
“For me, it worked out because PSG had a really big project. I was already training with some of the best players in the world at 16. There wasn’t much to think about – the decision was easy. Barcelona didn’t believe in me, and for me the choice was obvious.”

Chelsea are not surprised by the interest in Pedro Neto but would not allow him to leave on the cheap after noting the rising valuations of other wide men in this window.
CFC are not actively selling, but Blues insiders are aware of the asking prices being issued elsewhere in Europe, and specifically for Yan Diomande and Bradley Barcola. Diomande and Barcola are both considered £100m plus players and while Neto would struggle to fetch such a large fee, it does give Chelsea an idea of Neto’s worth.
Man City and Liverpool, along with sides in Saudi Arabia, have been linked with Neto. Chelsea sources believe it is only natural that Neto has attracted interest because of a lack of top wingers in the current market. The Blues have not quoted a valuation on Neto as of yet.

Breaking 🚨 🚨 Dani Alves on facing Cristiano Ronaldo in Madrid:
🗣️ “No one in Barcelona ever liked him, both the club, players management. It wasn’t because of Messi or the rivalry, it was because of the damage he could do in just one moment.”
🗣️ “The worst feeling back then was losing the ball and seeing Real Madrid break with Cristiano involved. Once he had space, you knew you were in trouble. He was too direct, too powerful and too ruthless. You could defend perfectly for eighty minutes and he’d still find a way to punish you.”
🗣️ “It’s difficult to admit but there were moments when you looked at him and thought, ‘Imagine having that kind of beast on your side.’ Every team wants a striker with that mentality, that aggression and that hunger to decide games.”
🗣️ “Rivalries make you dislike players, but they also make you respect them. Cristiano was one of those players you hated facing, because you knew one mistake was enough for him to change the entire game.”

"Enzo Fernandez was one of the very few Chelsea players who deserved credit last season. There weren't many who could say the same."
He also made his stance crystal clear:
"If a player doesn't want to be at Chelsea, I'd rather they leave—no matter how well they've played or how much the fans like them." 💯
Chelsea need players who are fully committed to the badge. Nothing less. 💙

🚨Obi Mikel Backs Chelsea Owners and Sporting Directors Over New Recruitment Plan:
🗣️ "I've got to say this; I like the direction Chelsea are going in.
For a while, everyone kept saying we were only signing kids with potential. But now it feels different. We're targeting players who are already proving themselves at the highest level.
Look at the links with Maxence Lacroix. The deal isn't done yet, but if Chelsea pull it off, that's a serious signing. I watched him against England and Argentina, and he showed how composed he was on the ball. He never looked rushed, he was comfortable playing out from the back, picked the right passes and dealt with pressure like he'd been at the highest level for years.
People laughed when we paid big money for Enzo Fernández. Today, nobody questions his quality. The same happened with Moisés Caicedo. The price tag brought pressure, but now people are seeing why Chelsea invested in him.
Now it's Morgan Rogers. Again, people are talking about the fee. That's football. But if you've watched the kid play, you know he's got the talent to justify the investment. I believe he'll do well at Chelsea.
What I like most is the strategy. The owners and the sporting directors deserve credit when they get things right. They're not just buying players because they're young anymore; they're buying footballers who can actually improve the first team immediately while still having their best years ahead of them.
If this is the recruitment model going forward, then Chelsea are moving in the right direction. Back the manager, trust the process, and let these players prove why the club believes in them."

🚨🚨 Zinedine Zidane reacts to the heated clash between Leandro Paredes and Gavi after Spain's World Cup final victory over Argentina.
🗣️ Zidane: "It's disappointing when a World Cup final is remembered for players pushing and confronting each other. The football should always be the story—not what happens after the final whistle.
Emotions are natural. Argentina had just lost the biggest game in football, while Spain was celebrating the greatest moment of their careers. But even then, players have a responsibility to stay in control.
The referee did well to intervene quickly before things escalated.
Paredes and Gavi are both fierce competitors, but once the match is over, the battle should end there. Nothing good comes from carrying it beyond the final whistle.
Millions of people watch the World Cup, and young fans look up to these players. Whether you win or lose, respect for your opponent is part of what makes football great.
Spain deserved to celebrate becoming world champions. Argentina deserved respect for the tournament they had.
This final should be remembered for the football, the quality, and the champions—not for post-match confrontations." 🇪🇸🏆🇦🇷
