Back in 2009, I had a strong desire to write my first book titled The Paradox of Moonsighting, but life happened and that dream could not materialize at the time.

Then in 2013, when I officially launched the Muslim Married And Single Platform (MMSP), my passion for addressing marriage-related issues grew deeper. Over the years, we received countless questions, complaints, emotional stories, and difficult conversations surrounding polygyny.

I watched many brothers approach polygyny with excitement but without preparation, wisdom, justice, emotional maturity, financial capability, or proper understanding of the enormous responsibility attached to it.

At the same time, I noticed that many discussions around polygyny were either too emotional, too cultural, too one-sided, or completely disconnected from the balance of the Qur’an and Sunnah.

That reality inspired this book.

This is not a book written to “hype” polygyny.

It is not a motivational speech for men chasing desires.

And it is not an attack on women who struggle with the subject.

Rather, this book asks a serious question:
