Personally, if Enzo Fernández is truly refusing to play for Chelsea because he wants to force a move to Manchester City which I still don’t think is the case then Chelsea should fine him.

If you’re trying to force a move to another club when they haven’t even made a bid for you, you’re disrespecting your current club and should face consequences.

But Chelsea haven’t fined Enzo. They haven’t said he has done anything wrong, and they still maintain that there has been no direct contact with Manchester City.

That could mean the real situation is very different from some of the reports, including those from Fabrizio Romano.

I think that’s something people need to pay attention to.

Before assuming Enzo is refusing to play or trying to force his way out, Chelsea’s actions or lack of action should also be considered.

Maybe there’s more to this story than we currently know.
