Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre regrets playing for Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ.
She stated this in her official social media handle following a lot of controversies with corrupt officials of The Nigeria Football Federation.
"On this day in 2015, I made my debut for the England U19 national team and marked the occasion with my first international goal in a 3โ1 victory over Iceland. ๐ฌ๐งโฝ
I was later invited to represent the England senior national team, but I turned down the opportunity because I wanted to represent Nigeria and honour my roots. It was a decision I made with pride and conviction.
Sadly, some corrupt Nigeria officials have made me to start regretting that decision . Itโs painful when politics and personal interests stand in the way of players who are committed to serving their country.
Nevertheless, no matter the disappointment, Nigeria will always be home. It is what it is."
Have we so much domesticated corruption to the extent that no one could call the NFF to order for the interest of our football?
Oh Nigerian football fans, how do we stop this monster of a corruption in our football โฝ๏ธ?
Who's going to hold these monsters accountable, and how long should we allow this show of shame to continue ๐ค?
Speak out and let's put a stop to this nonsense, once and for all...๐

Thibaut Courtois: โI want to rest for a year without ANY Belgium matches, and then play the EURO qualifiers and the 2028 EURO."
โI don't know if Belgium will agree to this."
How can the firefighter says he wants to rest when his house is on ๐ฅ?
But for the injury that forced Thibaut Courtois out against Spain, Belgium ๐ง๐ช would have drag the game into extratime, and perhaps, won.
Is Thibaut the best goalkeeper Belgium has ever had?๐

Enugu Rangers International clears the air why they didn't sign Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon.
Moses Simon still keeps animosity with the club for rejecting him then because he was from the Northern part of Nigeria:
"An Igbo guy who came and trained for just one week was given a professional contract, and I was told it was because I am from the North."
Simon may not be telling the whole truth, but he may also not be very far from the truth. Tribalism runs in our veins in Nigeria ๐ณ๐ฌ.
Whether Simon is telling the truth or not, every clubs should try and maintain professionalism and recruit players based on merit and aspirations of the club rather than on ethnicity.
Over to you parliamentarians... โ๏ธ
What's your final decision on this Moses Simon's accusation of Enugu Rangers International of being a TRIBAL BIGOT?
And your advise to all our local clubs and the Nigeria Super Eagles handlers. ๐๐ณ๐ฌ

Let's be honest as Africans, in the quarter-final game:
France ๐ซ๐ท vs ๐ฒ๐ฆ Morocco, who did you support to win?
Diaspora Africans or Morocco ๐ฒ๐ฆ ๐ค?

AFRICA DIDN'T WIN THE WORLD CUP... BUT THE WORLD CAN NO LONGER IGNORE AFRICAN FOOTBALL.
When the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicked off, many doubted Africa.
You can go and ask Gennaro Gattuso...
By the end of the tournament, the continent had made history.
โ
10 teams qualified.
โ
9 teams reached the knockout stage.
โ
Morocco reached the quarter-finals.
โ
Egypt reached the Round of 16.
That isn't failure in my opinion. ๐ผ ๐ธ ๐ป ๐น
That's progress.
But here's what caught my attention...
Everyone is talking about "Morocco" - and rightly so.
They were Africa's best team, earning "13 points," scoring "10 goals," and carrying our hopes to the quarter-finals.
Yet, if you watched every match, another team deserves more credit...
The Teranga Lions of Senegal ๐ธ๐ณ scored 10 goals too!
Yes, they were eliminated in the Round of 32, but they attacked fearlessly, entertained millions, and pushed Belgium all the way in a thrilling 3-2 defeat.
Then there was...
๐จ๐ป Cape Verde, one of Africa's smallest nations, proving that heart can compete with giants.
๐ช๐ฌ Egypt, who came within touching distance of the quarter-finals before narrowly losing 3-2 to Argentina. They lost a golden opportunity to reach the quarter-finals for the first time in their history. ๐ข
๐จ๐ฎ Ivory Coast, statistically one of Africa's most balanced teams despite an early knockout exit.
One thing is now clear...
African football is no longer about one or two strong nations. The strength is spreading across the continent.
The World Cup trophy may still be out of reach...
But history tells us that every champion starts by believing they belong. Africa now belongs, whether anyone likes it or not.
Now, let's go back to business ๐ฏ
๐
Who was Africa's MOST IMPRESSIVE team at the ?
Morocco ๐ฒ๐ฆ for going the furthest?
Senegal ๐ธ๐ณ for their fearless attacking football?
Egypt ๐ช๐ฌ for exceeding expectations?
Cape Verde ๐จ๐ป for shocking the world?
Or South Africa ๐ฟ๐ฆ for qualifying from the Group stage for the first time ever?
Or another team?
Pick your teams and tell us WHY.
๐
Do you think an African country can win the FIFA World Cup on/before 2042, and who do you think will win it first for Africa ๐?
Let's see if we're honest and sincere with ourselves โค๏ธ

Video Assistant Referees (VAR) have actually caused more controversies than what it intended to solve. Should abandon VAR and leave the games for the referee and their usual assistants?๐

Please read the official statement from Moroccoโs Sports Ministry and stop the hate where there's none.
We'll hit them hard where they fell short and also commend them where they did well.
That statement of "NOT REPRESENTING AFRICA" never came from the Sports Minister as stated in this official press release, and it's so accepted.
Thank you, Morocco ๐ฒ๐ฆ for saving the face of Africa in the .
