"We are, however, still very fresh, mixing experience with youthfulness, and I do know we will get better as we progress in this campaign.

"The league is fresh, we are going to work harder and smarter as we prepare for our next game against Rangers International FC in Abeokuta, hoping to get a descent result there."

SAM PAM(GOALSCORER/NAS): "Thank God for today's victory. It wasn't an easy game after losing 3-1 in Kano to Barau FC.

"Our supporters and fans were anxious to see us win today, including the Governor, and we did our best, and to God be the glory, we got the victory.

"I am glad to score the winning goal today. I thank God and my teammates who contributed to that. It's our first game at home, and the goal is a huge motivation for me to keep working hard till the end of the season."

COACH JOLOMI ALI(INSUR.): "It's really unlucky for us not to get something positive out of this ground, especially after many games here.

"We created a lot of chances, but couldn't convert any.

"United are a good side, and today's game was difficult for us, but that's football. We hope to correct our errors and prepare for our next game against Kun Khalifat at home."
