Gavi: "I want to be recognized as a different kind of player, like modern midfielders who attack, defend, press, create, and do everything."
🎙️ Wasn't it an easy season for you, how would you rate it?
"It was a season full of lessons, but I finish it with a good feeling because I ended it playing, feeling important to the team, and with a call-up to the national team so I can play in the World Cup."
🎙️ What physical condition do you find yourself in now?
"I feel better than ever. I've said it before, I feel better than I did before my first injury. You mature, you learn to take better care of yourself, develop your routines, and get to know yourself more and more, and that shows."
🎙️ Do you think you have grown mentally or matured more during this very complicated year?
"Yes, of course. At 21 years old, I should already be maturing, and injuries make you do that. They make you realize everything more clearly."
🎙️ Is there any teammate in the national team dressing room with whom you have especially good chemistry, both on and off the pitch?
"I'd say all the Barça players, but also the others. The truth is that I always try to maintain a good atmosphere among everyone, although when it's time to train and compete, I want to be the most competitive person in the group."
🎙️ You are a very young generation of players, and for some of them this will be their first World Cup. Do you think that is an advantage or a disadvantage?
"Experience is obviously important, especially in tournaments of this level, but we believe in ourselves and in the group. If we play the way we know how, we can achieve great things as a team."
🎙️ What advice would you give to players who will be making their World Cup debut in the United States, Mexico, and Canada?
"Be yourselves, play the way you know how, and enjoy playing. That's the most important thing."
🎙️ What would you like to do differently, mentally or physically, compared to the previous World Cup in Qatar? What lessons did you take from that experience?
"In my first World Cup, I was very young, only 17 years old, imagine that. But I've always been someone who gives everything, whether you're 17, 18, or 21. You have to follow the game plan that the coach gives us, and always have that bit of luck needed to keep progressing through the rounds, while also playing well and deserving it."

🚨🔥 | EXCLUSIVE: According to Krrish FT, FC Barcelona are preparing a new offer for Julián Álvarez after their initial €100M bid failed to convince Atlético Madrid. 🇦🇷🔵🔴
The new proposal is expected to exceed the previous offer, with sources indicating a package worth around €110M–€115M, potentially including a percentage of a future sale. 💰💣
Barcelona remain fully committed to the operation, with Deco maintaining constant contact with Álvarez’s representatives and the intermediaries involved in the negotiations. 🤝
Personal terms are reportedly not an obstacle. Julián’s priority remains a move to Barça, and the Argentine forward is said to have no interest in alternative destinations or in continuing at Atlético Madrid next season. 👀
Despite the complexity of the deal, Barcelona remain optimistic that an agreement can be reached before the start of the World Cup. However, negotiations are still ongoing and no final breakthrough has been achieved yet. ⏳

Inigo Martínez: "Is it possible that I return to Barça next season? My time at Barça was a period in which I was very happy, and one of the best stages of my career."
"I enjoyed it to the fullest, and I am grateful to the Barça fans for allowing me to live such a wonderful experience."
"But it is a chapter that has come to an end."
🎙️ Do you agree with Lewandowski's statement: 'Once you become Catalan, you remain Catalan forever'?
"That may well be the case. Once you arrive at the club, you see what happens there, how you win trophies, and how the dressing room is managed."
"Barça was everything. The daily life of every person, everything was incredible, and it's only natural that nobody wants to leave. It's like a family on the inside."
🎙️ How do you see Barça this season?
"In a season that seemed like it was going to be disastrous, they knew how to turn things around."
"The unfortunate part was the Champions League, but the fact that they finished so many points ahead of Madrid is to their credit and deserves a lot of praise."
"They won two titles this season and were only missing the Champions League, but it will come. This team will win it."
🎙️ How many times have you thought about Flick's substitution, when he took you off in the dying moments of the second leg of last season's Champions League semi-final against Inter?
"These are decisions every coach makes based on what he believes is best for the team and to improve the situation."
"It was unfortunate because we felt the goal was so close... the important thing was to reach the final. Winning the Champions League would have been something incredible."
🎙️ Were you surprised by how Gerard Martín adapted to his new role as a left-sided centre-back?
"Gerard is the type of player who may not catch your eye at first glance, or make you say, 'Wow!'"
"But he always gets the job done. And since he's a full-back, he can play as a centre-back too, and he'll never lack desire or enthusiasm."
"He'll always give you at least a 6.5 out of 10 performance, and at Barça there aren't many players like him. He's a player who wants to learn and is always alert and attentive."
🎙️ What do you think of Gordon's move to Barça?
"It depends on the type of player you're looking for."
"For me, he's a player who presses, attacks with intent, and is technically very good, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll arrive and fit in straight away."
"There's the pressure of playing for a big club and competing with the rest of the squad, and there are a lot of good players in that position."
