🚜 FROM BRICKS TO BEES: THE APIARY IS COMING ALIVE! 🐝🌿
Sometimes, getting the job done means making smart temporary arrangements while the permanent structures are being prepared. For this project, we are temporarily using bricks as hive stands while we await the completion of the proper hive stands. A tractor 🚜 conveyed the blocks to the selected Beekeeping site within the banana plantation, where my hardworking team is already positioning them. The hives have been carefully baited and are now patiently waiting for their final placement. 🐝🏡
We are positive, excited, and highly optimistic about what this project will become! Every step—from site selection and hive baiting to installation and eventual colonization—is being carefully executed with purpose. We can't wait to see these hives occupied by thriving bee colonies and watch this modern apiary transform into a productive honey farm. The journey has begun, and the bees are next! 🐝🍯🌱

🐝 BUILT TO LAST: LANGSTROTH HIVES READY FOR THE FARM! 🔨🐝
Langstroth hive assembly was successfully completed at our client’s farm! ✅ We didn’t just assemble the hives; we paid close attention to every detail. Each critical joint was carefully reinforced with small nails to give the hive additional strength, stability and durability—making it significantly stronger than its original construction. At Slasita Farms, quality is not just a promise; it is something we deliberately build into every project.
With the hives now properly assembled and reinforced, the next stage is installation at the farm. 🐝🌿 This is where the real transformation begins as we position the hives strategically to create a suitable environment for successful colony establishment and honey production. One step at a time, one hive at a time—we are building modern, productive and sustainable apiaries for our clients. 🚜🍯

Slasita Farms Site Inspection at a Multinational Company
Our recent site inspection at a multinational company was truly an exciting and insightful experience. The company occupies an impressive 110 hectares of land, with several projects currently under development. As we toured the vast property, our focus was to carefully identify the most suitable location where the modern beehives we will be supplying and installing can thrive.
In modern beekeeping, site inspection before hive installation is one of the most important steps. A properly selected apiary location contributes significantly to the success, productivity, and long-term sustainability of a beekeeping project.
10 Reasons Why Site Inspection Is Essential Before Installing Beehives
1. To identify areas with abundant nectar- and pollen-producing plants.
2. To ensure a reliable source of clean water is available for the bees.
3. To choose a location with adequate shade and proper ventilation.
4. To avoid areas prone to flooding or excessive moisture.
5. To protect the colony from strong winds and harsh weather conditions.
6. To identify and minimize threats from predators, pests, and human activities.
7. To ensure easy access for hive inspection, management, and honey harvesting.
8. To position hives where they can support effective crop pollination when required.
9. To reduce the chances of conflict between bees and workers, residents, or visitors.
10. To maximize colony health, honey production, and the overall success of the apiary.
At Slasita Farms, we don't just install beehives—we carefully plan every project to ensure our clients achieve the best possible results through modern beekeeping practices.
If you want Slasita Farms to help you establish a new modern beefarm, whether for crop pollination, honey production, or other valuable bee products, Slasita Farms is always willing and ready to make your dream a reality.

Why Original Honey Can Fail Every Honey Test You Know
High water content in honey can cause it to fail the water test, paper test, matchstick test, sand test, and many other popular "home tests." These tests are not reliable methods for determining whether honey is pure or fake.
On the other hand, fake honey that is thick or has a low water content can easily pass the paper, water, or matchstick tests, creating the false impression that it is genuine.
This is one of the reasons why relying on these so-called honey tests can be misleading. The only dependable way to assess honey quality is through proper laboratory analysis and by buying from a trusted, reputable beekeeper or honey producer.
