Madueke is the reason Saka can put up a very bad performance and still start the next game if he’s fit, because there’s no real competition for his place.

I honestly wonder how Arteta watched Madueke before deciding to buy him. Did he watch him with his eyes closed? Or was he intoxicated? Because there’s no way I can understand how he thought this was the player we needed.

He should have been the one sold, not Martinelli. He’s so bad.

Saka needs REAL competition. Someone who can make him sit up, someone who can actually bench him when he’s not performing. Then we can watch a game without constantly thinking, “We need Saka to come on.”

Because whoever is competing with him needs to be capable of delivering when given the chance. Madueke isn’t that guy. All he does is sprint. Honestly, he should have been a sprinter, not a footballer.
