One of the greatest dangers of falling into sexual sin is that a believer can easily drift into shame, guilt, self-condemnation and feelings of hopelessness. And the longer you stay down, the greater possibility for you to begin to see yourself as a failure, as an addict that can never be free, as a lost cause. Or you may even go back to your old ways since you are feeling you are a lost cause.

EPISODE 10: COACHING SESSION WITH A TEENAGE GIRL STRUGGLING WITH PO*******HY.

Topic: “Developing Strategies for Lasting Freedom”

The important part of this episode is that Lucy doesn't leave with vague advice. She leaves with the beginnings of a personal freedom strategy:
1. Know her triggers
Loneliness, stress, nighttime phone use and secrecy.
2. Create boundaries
Phone cutoff, avoiding private browsing and reducing access to triggering content.
3. Have an immediate response plan
When temptation appears: stop → leave the trigger → pray → contact accountability → redirect her attention.
4. Build life-giving rhythms
Scripture, prayer, exercise, healthy relationships, rest, purpose and meaningful activities.
5. Don't isolate after a setback
If she falls, she returns to God, seeks help, examines what happened and adjusts the plan.
6. Keep Christ at the center
The goal isn't simply “I want to stop watching po*******hy.” The deeper goal is “I want to become more like Christ and learn to live under His leadership.”

Topic: “Replacing Unhealthy Habits With Life-Giving Rhythms”

The central idea Coach Gloria is helping Lucy discover is:

“Freedom is not only about what you stop doing; it is also about what you start doing.”
Lucy shouldn't spend every day thinking, “I must not watch po*******hy.” Instead, she can gradually build a life where her attention, energy, relationships, body, mind, and spiritual life are being directed toward things that produce life, purpose, connection, and Christlikeness.

The practical rhythm Coach Gloria is teaching her is:
Remove access → Replace the habit → Create structure → Connect with people → Pursue purpose → Abide in Christ.

And importantly, the goal isn't simply to become “busy” so Lucy doesn't have time for po*******hy. The deeper goal is transformation—learning to use her time, body, mind, relationships, and desires in ways that honor Christ.
