PLAY it DREAM it

Highlights from the June edition of our Life Skills Development through Sport session was held at Egbe Secondary School, Ikotun, Lagos, under the PLAY it DREAM it program, in partnership with Manchester City and Midea.

Students participated in engaging sport-based activities designed to strengthen teamwork, communication, leadership, and self-confidence. The session provided a fun and interactive environment where participants could learn valuable life lessons, build positive relationships, and develop skills that support personal growth and responsible decision-making.

Sport continued to serve as a tool for learning, helping students understand the importance of respect, resilience, and cooperation while encouraging them to apply these values in school and everyday life.

The Grassroots Football Bootcamp held in May at Surulere Community, Lagos, in partnership with Manchester City and Midea, continued to create opportunities for children to learn, play, and develop through football.

Participants engaged in football training sessions designed not only to improve their skills on the pitch but also to strengthen important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, communication, and self-confidence. Every session encouraged children to work together, respect one another, and stay committed to their personal growth.

Beyond football, the bootcamp continues to provide a safe and supportive environment where children can stay active, build positive relationships, and develop the skills needed to thrive both on and off the field.
