I know I'm a Liverpool fan, but here's my honest take on Liverpool's 4-0 win against Galatasaray at Anfield.

Even as a rival, you have to admit that European nights at Anfield are just different.

After losing the first leg 1-0 in Istanbul, many people thought Liverpool might struggle, but they completely dismantled Galatasaray today.

Dominik Szoboszlai set the tone early, and even though Mohamed Salah missed a penalty in the first half, the floodgates opened after the break.

Hugo Ekitike, Ryan Gravenberch, and finally Salah himself,scoring his 50th Champions League goal, showed that when Liverpool is in this mood, they are almost impossible to stop.

It was a 4-1 aggregate win that felt even more dominant than the scoreline suggests. The 4-0 result sets up a massive quarter-final clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

While the Premier League teams have had a rough week with Chelsea, City, Tottenham and Newcastle all crashing out, Liverpool showed that they still have that European DNA.
