The Navy Blue Army are USSA C Section Champions! 🏆🔥

Our men capped off a phenomenal tournament with a 3–1 victory over SPU in a fiercely contested final to reclaim the championship in style.

NUST struck early to take the lead, but SPU refused to back down, producing a competitive final worthy of the occasion. Remaining composed under pressure, our men delivered when it mattered most, securing the victory and completing an extraordinary tournament.

Five matches. Five wins. Champions.

After the disappointment of the 2025 tournament and relegation, the team responded in the best way possible, producing an unbeaten campaign to earn promotion and once again lift the USSA trophy.

🏑 Full Time | NUST 1 (4) - (3) 0 VUT 💙

Our ladies brought their 2026 USSA Hockey Tournament campaign to a close with a dramatic victory over VUT in the 7th/8th place playoff.

After a tightly contested match ended square at full time, the teams remained deadlocked through the initial shootout, sending the contest into sudden death. With the pressure at its highest, captain Kay Kamwi stepped up to score the decisive goal and secure NUST’s first victory of the tournament. 👏🔥

While this year’s campaign didn’t produce the results the team had hoped for following last year’s historic success, the ladies never stopped fighting. They showed resilience, character, and unity throughout the week, and were rewarded with a well-deserved win to end their tournament on a positive note.

Every setback is an opportunity to grow, and we’re proud of the way our ladies represented the Navy Blue Army. 💙

It’s the final day of the 2026 USSA Hockey Tournament, and both of our teams have one last opportunity to leave their mark. 💙

Our ladies take on VUT in the 7th/8th place playoff. While the tournament hasn’t unfolded as they would have hoped following last year’s historic success, the team has continued to show resilience throughout the week. They’ll be looking to finish their campaign with a strong performance and end the tournament on a positive note. 💪

Our men have their eyes firmly fixed on the prize as they face SPU in the USSA Final. After an unbeaten run through the tournament, the Navy Blue Army is just one victory away from lifting the trophy once again. Following the disappointment of the 2025 campaign and relegation, the team has responded in the best possible way, earning another chance to be crowned champions. 🏆🔥

🏑 Day 4 Results | USSA 2026 🏑

Another eventful day at the USSA Hockey Tournament brought contrasting results for the Navy Blue Army.

Our men continued their exceptional run with a commanding 9–3 victory over VUT in the semi-final. Once again, they showcased their attacking quality and teamwork to book their place in tomorrow’s final, where they’ll face SPU with one goal in mind: bringing the trophy back home. 🏆💙

For our ladies, it was another challenging outing as they fell 10–0 to TUT in the 5th to 8th place classification match. While the result was not what they had hoped for, the team remains determined to finish their campaign on a positive note. They will now face VUT in the 7th/8th place playoff, with one final opportunity to end the tournament on a high.

One team is preparing for a shot at the championship, while the other continues to fight with resilience until the very last whistle. Best of luck to both teams on the final day of the tournament. 💪🏑

It’s a massive day for the Navy Blue Army as both of our teams return to the field with everything to play for. 💙

Our men are up early once again as they face VUT in the semi-final. After an unbeaten pool stage campaign, they’ll be looking to produce another convincing performance and book their place in the final. With the trophy firmly in their sights, every moment counts from here on. 🏆💪

Later in the day, our ladies take on TUT in the 5th to 8th place classification matches. Although the results haven’t gone their way so far, the team remains determined to finish the tournament strongly. They’ll be chasing their first win of the week and looking to build momentum heading into the final stages of the competition.

🏑 Day 3 Results | USSA 2026 🏑

The final day of the pool stages brought mixed fortunes for the Navy Blue Army.

Our ladies were up bright and early to take on a strong UWC side. Unfortunately, the result did not go their way, with UWC securing a 15–0 victory. While a podium finish is no longer within reach this year, the tournament is far from over. The ladies now turn their attention to the 5th to 8th place classification matches, where they will be looking to finish their campaign on a positive note. 💙

The day ended on a high as our men continued their outstanding tournament run. Facing a talented SPU side, the team once again delivered a dominant performance, securing a 7–0 victory. The result means the men finish the pool stages with three wins from three, booking their place in tomorrow’s semi-finals in convincing fashion. 🔥💪
