WWC hosted the 2026 NWF National Championships, welcoming 80 wrestlers from 6 clubs across Namibia.

WWC finished first with 64 medals
🥇30 gold
🥈21 silver
🥉13 bronze

We are incredibly proud of every wrestler who participated; our coaches for their guidance; the referees for ensuring fair competition; our mat administrators for their time and commitment; and every parent who continues to support the growth of wrestling in Namibia. 🇳🇦

We were honoured to welcome one of Namibia’s most accomplished wrestlers, Nico Jacobs, to Windhoek Wrestling Club.

Nico has proudly represented Namibia on some of the world’s biggest stages, including qualifying for the Olympic Games, competing at the World Championships, the Commonwealth Games, and multiple African Championships - where he brought home several medals for his country.

Today, he continues to inspire the next generation from Canada, where he lives with his family and coaches wrestling, sharing his knowledge and passion for the sport.

A true ambassador for Namibian wrestling 🇳🇦💪
