Namibia Rugby Union is the governing body for rugby in Namibia. It was formed in March 1990. However, the evidence for the story is doubtful.

Oom Herman has become synonymous with this prestigious league, giving year after year of his time, passion and dedication to helping schools rugby grow from strength to strength. His contribution to generations of young players, coaches and schools is something truly worth celebrating.
