🇳🇦 TEAM NAMIBIA | ON THE ROAD TO COSSASA 2026
Team Namibia is still on the road to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, and is currently making their way through Botswana, and are now in Fancistown.
The long journey is starting to take its toll, with athletes experiencing fatigue along the way. At every stop, the athletes take time to stretch, recover and reset before continuing the journey.
Despite the possibility of fatigue, team management remains confident in the athletes’ ability to perform tomorrow. Mentally, the team is strong, focused and ready for the challenge ahead.
There are still a few kilometres to go before the team arrives in Zimbabwe, settles in and prepare for the competition.
The journey continues. The mission remains the same. 🇳🇦🔥

📸 OFFICIAL SEND-OFF | 2026 COSSASA GAMES 🇳🇦🇿🇼
Family, friends and officials gathered at Independence Stadium, Olympia, for the official send-off of Team Namibia heading to the 2026 COSSASA Games in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, from 31 August–3 September.
After more than four years away, Namibia returns with 55 athletes: ⚽ 20 Football, 🏐 12 Netball and 🏃 23 Athletics athletes.
The delegation departs on 29 August for a two-day journey to Bulawayo.
Mr Therens Ndisiro briefed the athletes and travelling committee on safeguarding, discipline, respect and staying together as a team throughout the trip.
We wish Team Namibia a safe journey and every success! 🇳🇦🔥
