Handmade is Supportive

At Pusat Latihan Luvly Touch , I am so grateful for the opportunity to create 100% handmade Shawl pin, nature-inspired jewelry. The only thing more gratifying than knowing where my materials are coming from, being fully invested in the vision of my collections, and using my own two hands to bring that vision to life, is knowing that someone like you appreciates the holistic process and end product. First, though, a bit of history. I worked in non-profits for many years (since 2009 till now), all the while creating handmade jewelry in my spare time. I didn't believe that I was creative enough, artistic enough, good enough to be an artist. But the pull towards it got stronger and stronger, and I started to listen to the voice telling me it was time to make the shift. In 2014 It was a leap of faith, and becoming a full time to produce air dry white clay, instuctor & Craft jewelry maker was a tremendous gift to myself.

I use the word Luvly Touch (LT) because it encompasses the essence of my journey to becoming a working artist. For me, this work is how experience play and creativity in the world, and is a luvly sailing

The reason why i keep on continues to sail the course is because i deeply believe "Handmade is Supportive To Our Local Economy."

It is a topic that is often discussed but not always upheld. The quickest, most effective way to keep small businesses open and keep the money you spend feeding into and through your community, is to support local endeavors. Buying local handmade is a big step in the right direction...and at Luvly Touch you not only get beautiful handmade but you give lovely life to local people ❤
