Malaysia Airlines Veterans Football Club - MVFC est. 1993 1993 was the year that MAS Veterans FC (MVFC) unofficially formed.
Most of the players are from ex-MAS Football Team and MAS staff with the passion of playing and watching football. After years of playing friendly games, in 1994 the team finally decided to participate in more competitive tournament. Anak Kalumpang FC (AKFC) management granted permission for the club management to participate in FA Selangor (FAS) League using their FAS registered club name, which
was subsequently unofficially recognized as MAS Veterans FC (MVFC). MVFC were a strong side in those days, winning promotion to the First Division in 1995 as champions of Division Two FAS League. The following season the club finished second in Division One and reached the semi-finals of the 1996 FAS FA Cup. Back then, there were big names involved, such as Ramlan Askolani (ex Malaysian and Kuala Lumpur player), Johann Bjorg from Germany and some other talented local MAS players as well.. Unfortunately, during the end of 1996, the club's fortunes declined to retain professional players, the management of MVFC (The MVFC) then decided to withdraw from major competition, but instead play more local and international friendly games. AKFC then was take over by ANSARA FC to pursue and continue in FAS League. During 2009-2010, MVFC played a total of 48 recorded friendly matches; and the following year - 2011, The MVFC decided to participated in Kota Damansara Veterans League (KDVL 2011).
