Stefanos Tzimas - not making a bench.

Stefanos Tzimas’s two-goal Albion debut was promising, but Fabian Hurzeler wants to give the 19-year-old Greek striker and his countryman Babis Kostoulas as much time as they need to settle into life at the club.

The summer arrivals made their debuts in the 6-0 win over Oxford United in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday with Tzimas scoring his goals after coming off the bench.

“I think we have to separate the two [when we talk about them],” Hurzeler said ahead of Sunday’s game against Manchester City.

Stefanos is a little bit further ahead than Babis. I think he proved this against Oxford.

“We have seen Stef in training – he's a striker who is capable of scoring from different angles and that's something very special.”

So we are very pleased with him.

A lacklustre performance.

This comes as a result of not doing the reinforcement right.

We get it wrong for the 2 consecutive season.

Departed players not replaced with a better version of them.

Too many average players on the field.

1 week to go before the transfer window closed.

Sejak awal pagi semalam khabar angin bertiup kencang yang mana ada ura-ura mengaitkan RDZ dengan kelab-kelab elit Eropah.

Bukan satu tetapi dua.

Ini bagi menggantikan pengurus semasa mereka Carlo Ancelotti dan Rudi Garcia.

Secara jujurnya kita tak dapat lari dari situasi ini. Bila kita berjaya menarik minat kelab-kelab elit bermakna “we are doing something good”.

Tetapi bagi saya (admin) secara jujurnya De Zerbi perlu kekal di Albion pada musim ini dan juga musim depan.

Menang apa-apa kejuaraan FA/Europa/Liga atau berjaya secure Champions League spot for 2 consecutive years then baru lah boleh duduk sebaris dan mendapat pengiktirafan dari semua pihak (para pemain terutamanya).

Dari sudut pengurusan, De Zerbi dilihat bagus dan punya karisma; boleh membimbing pemain-pemain muda. Namun situasinya tidak sama jika pemain berstatus diva. Mengurus manusia begini bukan lah sesuatu yang mudah.

Tactical approach & footballing ideas ada satu perkara yang De Zerbi belum mampu unlock that code.

Bila bertemu opponents yang bermain secara fizikal dan sit deep (low block) dan hanya mengharap set piece & counter attack. De Zerbi tampak goyah dan mati akal menentang team begini.

Itu yang kita lihat terjadi bila bertemu West Ham & AEK Athens tempoh hari.

Once beliau jumpa resepi menumpaskan pasukan begini, beliau boleh duduk dengan selesa mengemudi mana-mana pasukan dalam dunia.
