Before we teach swimming, we help them feel safe, comfortable, and confident in the water. Once water confidence is there, learning becomes much easier. 🏊

Coach yang memahami dan pandai mendekati kanak-kanak ✅
Dalam kelas renang, kebanyakan kanak-kanak sebenarnya tidak mengharapkan coach yang paling hebat atau paling laju. Apa yang mereka perlukan hanyalah seseorang yang sentiasa menjaga, membimbing dan memberi sokongan kepada mereka.
Seseorang yang akan memberi sokongan dan membantu mereka ketika berasa takut, mengajar sambil bermain, tidak mudah marah apabila mereka melakukan kesilapan, dan sentiasa memastikan mereka selamat ketika berada di dalam air.
Kanak-kanak sangat peka. Mereka boleh merasakan sama ada seseorang itu membuatkan mereka berasa selesa dan selamat. Apabila mereka mula mempercayai coach, mereka akan menjadi lebih tenang, lebih berani mencuba perkara baharu, malah ada yang mula berani memasukkan kepala ke dalam air tanpa disuruh.
Pada ketika itu, keyakinan mereka terhadap air mula terbina. Apabila keyakinan sudah ada, proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih mudah dan mereka lebih bersedia untuk melangkah ke peringkat seterusnya.
Mengajar renang bukan sekadar mengajar teknik. Ia juga tentang membina kepercayaan, keyakinan dan senyuman pada setiap anak kecil yang kita bimbing. ❤️🏊♂️

Today, we say farewell to Sophie as she heads back to the UK soon. 🇬🇧
Sophie has been an amazing swimmer, always hardworking, committed, and a joy to coach. We are so proud of the progress and achievements she has made during her time with us.
Thank you for coming by to say goodbye before you leave—it meant so much to all of us.
