🏆 PSR 7s SERIES 2 – WHAT A FINISH! 🔥

Another chapter of the Putrajaya Super Rugby 7s Series has come to an end, and Series 2 delivered everything we hoped for—upsets, redemption, breakthrough performances, and unforgettable rugby.

The Cup Final belonged to UKM Bandits, who finally got their revenge on ASAS RC. After falling short in the Series 1 Final, the Bandits returned stronger, more determined, and completed a 21-12 victory to lift their first PSR 7s Series title. A true story of resilience and redemption. 🏆

The biggest surprise of the weekend came from DBKL Dragons. After stunning UM Blues in the quarter-finals to book an unexpected semi-final berth, their remarkable run ended against a clinical BOMBA RC, who dominated the 3rd Place Playoff with a convincing 45-0 victory to secure the bronze medal.

As expected, ASAS RC continued their impressive form by topping Group A, with Kajang Rams RC joining them after a solid day of performances.

In Group B, hometown favourites UKM Bandits, the Series 1 finalists, lived up to expectations alongside UM Blues, both securing their places at the top.

Group C saw BOMBA RC prove why they were among the favourites, finishing strongly together with Knuckle RC.

Then came the Group of Death… 💀

Group D delivered exactly what everyone expected—high-intensity rugby from the very first whistle. After a series of closely contested matches, DBKL and UPNM Smokies emerged as the group leaders.
