Westports’ IT Department conducted seven sessions of Microsoft PowerPoint Workshop for approximately 300 Standard 6 students from SK Pulau Indah and SK Pulau Indah 2. Through hands-on learning, the students developed practical knowledge in creating effective PowerPoint presentations, delivering their ideas confidently and strengthening their digital skills.

The program reflects our commitment to supporting digital education, enhancing students’ confidence in using technology and preparing them for an increasingly digital learning environment.

Westports is proud to announce a significant milestone recorded on Conventional monthly cargo volumes exceeding 1 million metric tonnes (MT) for 12 consecutive months, from July 2025 to June 2026, setting a new benchmark for our Conventional business.

This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment of our employees in delivering safe, efficient, and reliable conventional cargo services. It also reflects the continued trust and confidence placed in Westports by our valued customers, business partners, government agencies, vendors, and stakeholders.

Westports Malaysia was honoured to welcome the delegates of ASEAN Ports and Logistics 2026 for a technical visit to our port. The visit provided a valuable platform to showcase Westports’ operations, and exchange insights on our role in strengthening regional trade, logistics and supply chain connectivity across ASEAN.

The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Paul Carlos, General Manager, Commercial Department, together with our team.

Our Maintenance & Repair, Engineering and Port Projects teams recently carried out repair, maintenance and painting works at Tabika KEMAS Baitul Husna to enhance the kindergarten’s facilities, creating a safer, cleaner and more conducive learning environment for both the children and teachers.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community through meaningful corporate social responsibility programmes and the collective dedication of our employees. Together, we strive to make a positive and lasting impact on the communities we serve.

𝐀𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐬, 𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

Westports Malaysia brought together government agencies, strategic partners and Westportians for a Mangrove Planting CSR Programme at Hutan Simpan Kapar, Selangor, reaffirming our commitment to protecting coastal ecosystems while advancing sustainable infrastructure development.

The programme was led by Datuk Eddie Lee, Group Managing Director of Westports Holdings Berhad, together with distinguished representatives from the Public Private Partnership Unit (UKAS), Port Klang Authority (PKA), Majlis Bandaraya Diraja Klang (MBDK), Selangor Forestry Department (JPNS), Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI Selangor), the Selangor Department of Environment (DOE), Yayasan Hijau Malaysia (YHM), Westports Board of Directors and our dedicated Westportians.

Prior to the planting activity, participants received an update on the Westports 2 expansion, which continues to progress ahead of schedule, alongside ongoing mangrove restoration efforts that are being implemented in tandem with the development.

At Westports, sustainability is embedded in the way we plan, build and grow and creating lasting value for our communities, the environment, and future generations.

Westports was honoured to witness the Signing Ceremony of the Lease Agreement for the Reactivation of Segamat Inland Port (SIP), organised by the Port Klang Authority, marking a significant milestone in strengthening Malaysia’s logistics network and supporting economic growth in Northern Johor.

The agreement exchange between Segamat Inland Port Sdn. Bhd. and Infinity Landbridge Express Sdn. Bhd. represents a key step towards reactivating Segamat Inland Port as an important inland logistics hub, enhancing cargo connectivity, improving supply chain efficiency, and facilitating trade between inland regions and major seaports.

The ceremony was officiated by YB Anthony Loke, Minister of Transport. Westports was represented by Chief Executive Officer Mr. Vijaya Kumar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Pn. Linda Zain, and Westports team.

Westports remains committed to collaborate with industry partners to strengthen Malaysia’s logistics ecosystem and reinforce the nation’s position as a leading regional trade hub.

𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭

Westports recently conducted a community plogging programme at Kampung Sungai Kembong, Pulau Indah, with the participation of 96 attendees comprising local residents, partner organisations and Westports employees.

Through this collaborative effort, a total of 207.3 kg of waste was collected, highlighting the collective commitment of all participants towards environmental sustainability and community engagement.
